A man who suffered “life-changing injuries” after being hit in the Soho crash that left a influencer fighting for her life has been revealed as a security guard.
Anoosh Chaichy, 56, was standing next to Klaudiaglam – whose real name is Klaudia Zakrzewska – and trying to move his e-scooter when he was hit in the small hours of Sunday morning.
Miss Zakrzewska, aged in her 30s, remains in a critical condition in hospital following the incident in Argyll Street in central London.
X Factor finalist and fellow influencer – Gabrielle Carrington, who has more than 365,000 followers on Instagram under the handle RIELLEUK – appeared in court on Tuesday charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving.
She did not enter any pleas during the hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court.
Mr Chaichy, 56, from Edgware, north London, was revealed as a security guard and fitness fanatic by the MailOnline.
His Instagram account has pictures of him working as a member of security for Martello Hall, a cocktail bar and banquet hall in Hackney, London, where he posed with drinkers last year, it reported.
Another woman in her 30s also received minor injuries when she was hit by the car during the incident.
Carrington – described in court as “social media influencer” who makes regular trips to the United Arab Emirates – made a heart sign with her hands towards friends and family as she appeared in court on Tuesday.
Outlining the allegations, prosecutor Rizwan Amin told the court: “In the early hours of Sunday morning, April 19, ambulance services and police were called to Argyll Street for reports that a woman had been run over.
“Officers had attended at 5am, and also London Ambulance Service were on the scene.
“The scene can only be described as lots of people shouting, it could be described as a melee, so to speak.
“Many individuals who were there were from a nearby nightclub including security staff members.
“The full extent of the incident wasn’t appreciated at the time officers had attended.
Mr Amin told the court that during the incident a vehicle “struck Ms Zakrzewska who was position to the front side of the vehicle and she was dragged forwards and dropped between the vehicle and a metal bike rack”, he said.
The two other were also hit.
According to the court charges, Carrington allegedly had 61 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath when she tested after the incident.
The judge ordered that Carrington is held in prison until the next court hearing at the Old Bailey on May 19.
