A man drew blood when he punched a bouncer outside a pub as he was being removed
Jack Skinner, 20, of Wilton Avenue, Southampton, admitted causing actual bodily harm to a woman and damaging her glasses.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday, June 23, following the incident on May 4, 2025, outside The London Hotel in Southampton.
The court heard that the victim Faye Baxter had been working as door staff for The London Hotel in the front garden.
A fight broke out between three men, including Skinner. The bouncer and a colleague escorted him from the premises, each holding one of his arms.
He struggled and one of his arms broke free, and punched Ms Baxter’s face, breaking her glasses and causing bleeding.
Skinner has no previous convictions and said he was acting in self-defence in the initial scuffle.
A report from probation has been ordered prior to sentencing on August 15. Skinner has been released on unconditional bail.
