A law student who spat at a nightclub bouncer has been ordered to pay compensation.
The incident took place on April 10, when Dragan-Andrei Maloievici, 23, was kicked out of Mojito Lounge on Broad Street in Lynn.
When he attempted to come back in, he was refused entry and spat on the security guard’s jacket.
Maloievici, 23, of Fisherman Road in Boston, Lincolnshire, soon attempted once more to gain access to the premises – and when he was told he could not, he spat once more in the bouncer’s face.
He was arrested and during an interview with police, said that he could not remember the incident – but apologised.
At Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, the defendant, who is studying business management and law, pleaded guilty to assault.

In mitigation, solicitor Sally Dale said: “It is very much to his credit that he accepts responsibility.
“He is extremely ashamed and embarrassed.”
Maloievici was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 in compensation to the security guard.
No order was made for costs or a victim surcharge due to his limited means.
