Halifax bar heartbroken at loss of young doorman Brooklyn Saville who was ‘genuinely one of the nicest people’

Tributes have been paid to a much-loved young Halifax man.

Brooklyn Saville, who is believed to have died suddenly on Monday night, has been described as “genuinely one of the nicest people”.

He worked as a doorman at KoKo’s bar, at Bull Green in Halifax town centre, and the team there say they are heartbroken to have lost him.

“Brooklyn worked with us on the doors and was genuinely one of the nicest people you could have there,” they have posted on social media.

“He always had that cool, calm smile, even when he tried to look serious, and he handled everything in a quiet, respectful, and well-mannered way.

“No drama, no ego, just calm professionalism well beyond his years, and real respect for everyone around him.

“He was taken far too young, and his loss is deeply felt. Our hearts are heavy, and he will be truly missed, especially at this time of year when thoughts turn to family and friends.

“We’ve worked closely with his dad, David Savile of DS Security, for many years, and our thoughts are with him, Brooklyn’s family, and all his friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
