The next door supervisors’ network meeting will be held on Wednesday 8 September 2010 in Birmingham.
Delegates working within door supervision will have the opportunity to discuss and explore issues about the industry and regulation with others from the industry and with representatives from the SIA.
The meeting is being organised and facilitated by representatives of the door supervision sector with the support of the SIA, forming part of the SIA’s stakeholder engagement strategy.

Why ? The meetings don't do anything for the industry apart from give the sia reps a reason to have a day out and claim travel expenses.

Its about time the SIA have one these meeting in N.Ireland, after all we are only new to their ways! I have not seen or heard of anyone or any licensed premisses being checked!

More or less the same over here irish still yet to see a sia enforcement officer

Newry, Armagh, Portdown, Coleraine, Belfast, Lisburn etc have all been checked and arrests have been made.
I doubt they will set foot in Londonderry any time soon due to current situation.

Is that checked by SIA or PSNI or licencing most the checks over hhere seem to be done by the police or licencing
