Door Supervisor targeted in ‘shockingly violent’ attack

Police are hunting three men after a bouncer was set upon in a “shockingly violent” attack outside a trendy bowling alley.

The 42-year-old victim was approached outside All Star Lanes in Bayswater after which a brief altercation occurred, police said.

He was then violently attacked, suffering cuts and slashes to his head and face, and leaving him in need of hospital treatment.

Detective Constable Tom Aylward, of the Met’s serious crime unit in Westminster, said: “This was a shockingly violent attack on a door supervisor who was just trying to do his job.

“There is no justification for such violence and it is only by good fortune that his injuries were not more serious.”

Police have now released CCTV images of three men they want to speak to in connection with the incident in Porchester Gardens at 2.45am on Sunday, October 29.

“It is very important that these men are identified as soon as possible so that we can speak with them about the assault,” added DC Aylward.

Anyone with information should contact Westminster CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
